Hilary Duff has shared the exciting news of expecting her fourth child, as revealed on Instagram. The 36-year-old How I Met Your Father star posted a carousel of the family’s 2023 holiday card, captioning it with a delightful “Surprise surprise!”

In a playful response, her husband, Matthew Koma, shared their holiday card on Instagram, humorously tagging the post’s location as a “vasectomy clinic” and cheekily stating, “Baby #4 is loading…”

The Instagram carousel showcased the family posing in their pajamas, with the back of the card featuring solo pictures of each child making silly faces. The card humorously declared, “So much for silent nights” on the front, with an additional note on the back stating, “Buckle up buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!”

In the family photo, Hilary Duff, adorned in pink pajamas and an eye mask, cradled a growing baby bump. The rest of the family gave knowing glances to the camera, playfully acknowledging that “silent nights” would soon be a thing of the past in the Duff-Koma household.

The family of five includes Duff’s 11-year-old son Luca from her previous marriage to NHL player Mike Comrie, and two daughters with Koma – Banks Violet Bair, 5, and Mae James Bair, 2 – all joyfully posing together in the holiday photos.

This heartwarming announcement follows recent celebrations for their eldest daughter Banks’s birthday. Hilary shared a touching Instagram tribute, expressing love and admiration for Banks’s unique qualities and wishing her a happy fifth birthday filled with cuddles, tickles, and all the joys of childhood.

In his own Instagram tribute, Koma expressed his awe at Banks’s wit, kindness, and heart, emphasizing that being her father is the greatest gift. He playfully mentioned anticipating her guilt at telling him she loves mommy more once she has social media at 37.

Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma, who officially began dating in 2017, welcomed their first daughter, Banks, in 2018. They tied the knot in 2019 and celebrated the arrival of their second daughter, Mae, in 2021.
